Rare Antique linen fabric backed French Map of Clamecy, in lovely condition with aged patina to the fabric, dated 1845.

Gorgeous folding map of Clamecy, a commune in Central France, beautifully mounted on linen fabric and has the old paper label to the front , from Librairie-Reliure (bookbinding bookstore) in Paris. It appears to be a military map, issued by the Department of war in 1845. Someone has inked out a journey, route or specific areas of interest within Clamecy with black, blue and red ink.

A truly amazing and highly collectible find which would look amazing opened out and framed.
