Antique 19th Century French white glaze confit pot

Antique 19th Century French white glaze confit pot, circa 1850's.

Lovely smaller size two handled confit pot with white glaze which has a light pink blush hue to it. The glaze has slightly chipped and come away in one small area, as shown in the photos which shows some yellow underneath but the damage is minimal and the pot remains in tact and watertight. There is also another area by the handle which has a darker spot, where there is no white glaze on it..looks like this happened when the pot was first made when either the glaze didn't stick or it touched another pot when being fired. This blemish s also highlighted in the photos where you can see some brown by the handle.

The pot shows signs of wear, all commensurate with its age.
