Amazing Antique French Champagne Basket. Woven wicker with twisted wire supports. Single handle, wonderful patina to the wicker with original black paint colour, distinguishing the Vineyard, on wooden runners which has an extra baton added to one side, as shown in the photos, to make the basket stand level.
Place of origin Reims France, Circa 1910. Fabulous size to this beautiful basket, which is perfect as log basket, laundry basket, shoe storage, toy baskets, Christmas tree planter......whatever you want really!
