Antique 19th Century French Napoleon IIII Painted Zinc Bath Tub

Beautiful French Zinc Bath tub, circa 1880, standing on its original wooden base, which is in great condition. In its original white paint, the bath has some minor areas of wear and rust/patina and the odd ding, all commensurate with its age. On one side at the base, the seam has come away slightly so it isn't currently water tight but this could be resealed and fixed if needed. However, the best use of this tub would be as a stunning garden planter so you wouldn't want it to be water tight.

This tub has a handle to both ends and being zinc, it is very easy to move around. It makes the most wonderful garden planter, garden feature, or could even be used to chill down bottles of drink for those balmy summer parties.

This bath measures height 81cm, width 57cm, depth/length 150cm
