Authentic Antique 19th Century 4 drawer Burmese teak commode in its original black brown patina.

Two small drawers, 2 large drawers, all dovetailed with pretty reeded brass cup handles. They are lovely, solid drawers with just some minor wear and tear to the back bases, nothing detrimental and doesn't affect their use.

This commode is very solid, heavy and of great quality. There are a couple of minor repairs to the original back board which are not too noticeable and a small chip to the base, on the front left corner, which I have highlighted in the photos. Overall, the commode is in good used condition, with wear commensurate with its age. Most of the wear is on the underside of the top, which is obviously hidden from view. The top itself is solid with a beautiful black sheen patina.

I absolutely love the simplicity of the design and the rich colouring of this commode. 

Please note, currently the large middle drawer needs to be pulled down before pulling out but this may ease/change in time
