Vintage Glass tree decorations from Russia and Ukraine, circa 1950's
Even though the Soviet Union was officially an atheist country, the old traditions of winter holidays past lived on through the regime by way of the New Year Tree. In the USSR, people didn't decorate a "Christmas tree", but the Новогодняя елка (New Year Tree). These beautiful ornaments were all hand made and hand painted so each one totally unique. They are all in good condition but some may show signs of wear. Please study the photos carefully.
All the decorations are priced INDIVIDUALLY
