Pair Cast Iron French Sphinx Form Andirons-Firedogs, circa late 19th Century to Early 20th Century.

Full of charm and character, these old andirons served to hold the log basket in place. This pair were found in France and are very unusual.

Rust coming through the black paintwork which has been touched up over the years.
