Large Antique Chocolat Menier box with hinged lid and clips

Rustic Chocolat Menier box, with original labels, patinated and worn with age. Main areas of woodworm damage are at the back base but not that noticeable when in situ. Fabulous large size with lid so would make a great storage box/trunk or even a rustic coffee table.  Ancient woodworm holes have been treated as a precaution. 

Please note, the clip on the left hand side does not always fully stay down but it holds the lid in situ. Chocolat menier boxes are notoriously hard to source nowadays, especially in this much larger size

Measurements: height 40cm, length 90cm, depth 45cm
