Antique Swedish 19th century woven birch bark basket, painted on the exterior in a blue grey colour.
This is a traditional Swedish basket using cross woven strips of birch bark, with solid bent wood outer strips and rim. Ideal for use as a kindling bin, blanket basket, laundry basket or simply as a decorative item.
