Antique Swedish Dry Scraped Mora Clock dated 1829, with weights, key and pendulum.

The clock face has been later enamelled at some point but still very aged and there are traces of the original face/paint coming through in areas.  The painted date 1829 is original and over the years, its owners have simply painted around this.

This clock has been dry scraped to the last layer before the lightest terracotta red colour.  It has been working on and off in the shop but these clocks are very temperamental so may need adjustments by a specialist clock maker when in situ in your home. *Please note, this clock is not sold as being in full working order. It is being sold with its original working mechanism, a Pendulum, Key and weights*
