Antique French Provencal Yellow Jug
Small 19th Century Water Cruche or Jug from the Provence Region of France. It has a rich yellow glaze to the top half, that is absolutely wonderful, with beautiful pale unglazed terrracotta below. It has great character and presence and is a good early example of French utilitarian pottery.
A few minor nibbles on the stoneware but its in great condition for its age.
Measurements: Height approx 29cm to top of handle
