Antique French Bevelled Glass Jewellery Caskets, circa late 1800's
We currently have these two styles available; the basket style one on the left is a much rarer design.
Both have their original thick bevelled glass, and sawtooth ormalu gilt edges with working clasps.
The basket style casket has a very small nibble to the glass in once corner which is not very noticeable as it is positioned very close to the sawtooth edging. It also has a longish scratch to one of the bevelled glass panels but is generally in very good condition. It does not have a silk cushion to the base. I have highlighted these minor flaws in the photographs.
The square casket is in very good condition with a few minor scratches to the glass and some minimal wear to the beautiful red silk cushion
