Antique French Champagne Trugs, from the Vinay region of France

These trugs were used for collecting grapes, for champagne production. The timber on both trugs are well weathered and patinated but lovely and solid. Both trugs have the lettering GB to both sides symbolising the vineyard owner's initials and turquoise and red paint.

These wooden trugs are a lovely large size and would make the most wonderful log baskets, laundry baskets or large planters for the garden

Measurements: height 53cm, width 74cm, depth 53cm
