Antique French Champagne Trugs, from the Vinay region of France

These trugs were used for collecting grapes, for champagne production. The timber on both trugs are well weathered and patinated but lovely and solid. Both trugs have the lettering "AMG" to both sides and metal handles. One of the trugs has some wood missing from the top, as shown in the photos but this is not too noticeable and does not affect its use.

These wooden trugs are a lovely large size and would make the most wonderful log baskets, laundry baskets or large planters for the garden

Measurements: Height ex handles 48cm, Height inc handles 57cm, Width 78cm, Depth 55cm
