Antique 19th Century French Copper Slipper Bath

This is a truly stunning Slipper Bath, with a beautiful Verdigris patina to the exterior. 

Rumour has it, that it belonged to a Count and it came from a Chateau in the Lot Region.

The interior has been polished up to a high shine but still has lovely aged patina, including the original plug. The waste outlet beneath the plug hole protudes beneath the base, as I believe it was connected underneath the floorboards of the Chateau, from which the bath was reclaimed. Therefore, you would need to be able install the waste pipe below floor level, or you would need to build a small platform upon which the bath could sit (and hide the pipe work) as the bath does not have any feet or skirting.
