Antique French Champagne Trugs, from the Vinay region of France

These trugs were used for collecting grapes, for champagne production. The timber on both trugs are well weathered and patinated but lovely and solid. Both trugs have the lettering "RJ" in red paint to both sides and metal handles. One of the trugs has a couple of knot holes on the side, as shown in the photos but this is not too noticeable and does not affect its use.

These wooden trugs are a lovely large size and would make the most wonderful log baskets, laundry baskets or large planters for the garden

Measurements: height excluding handles 49cm, height including handles 58cm, width 78cm, depth 56cm

These trugs are sadly too large and heavy for postage so would need to be collected from our shop in East Sussex or Special Courier delivery organised
