Vintage French Oak Champagne Riddling rack
A very heavy, oak wine and champagne double sided riddling rack, designed to hold up to 120 bottles. There is the odd nick to the edges of this large rack but nothing detrimental.
Stamped on both sides with Épernay, the French region best known as the principal "entrepôt" for champagne wines, which are bottled and kept in large cellars, built into the chalk rock on which the town is built. It also has M&C 98 stamped on the top which possibly stands for Moet & Chandon.
Measurements: Height 151cm, Width 77cm, Depth is adjustable due to A frame
