Pretty antique 19th century Swedish four drawer commode, later painted in a soft grey colour.

The four drawer fronts seem to have a veneer finish which have been later painted and some of the seams can be seen as shown in the photos. The top drawer has three small internal drawers and all four drawers have brass ring pull handles and escutcheons. The existing key works the top two drawer locks but doesn’t seem to work on the bottom two drawers. All drawers opens smoothly.

There is a very pretty decorative apron to the base of the commode which coordinates with the sides. On one side near the base, the wood has slightly split but it is completely sturdy and is not that detrimental.

Measurements: height 103cm, width 100cm, depth 46cm
