Antique Swedish Gustavian Country Cupboard with reeded front doors.
This charming two piece Country style Cupboard, is very simple in design and has been later painted in a pale blue grey colourway. The top lock is broken so the antique key in the escutcheon is purely decorative. The bottom Cupboard has two period ring handles on the doors, which is secured by a primitive wooden latch. Plenty of generous storage in this rustic country cupboard.
There is evidence of some ancient woodworm to the top left hand side of the top cupboard and this has been treated as a precaution.
The cupboard breaks down into two pieces for ease of transport and moving.
