Antique French Wood and Papier Mache horse fragment from Paris.

This elegant Parisian horse fragment, still retains its original leather ears, headpiece and horse hair tail. He has handpainted eyes, mouth and the grey dapple patterning on its body. There are quite a few cracks and chips in the papier mache, mainly at the tops of the legs and on the legs themselves and there have been some repairs made over the years. Nonetheless, he remains sturdy and makes a very handsome decorative item.
