Antique French Griffin Crested top Mirror with Venetian glass trim, circa 1860's
Very large, stunning mirror with rare venetian glass trim around the bevelled mirror glass. In very good condition, with just a couple of tiny pieces missing from the top which is not very noticeable. This beautiful mirror has had some gilt cream added to areas of the frame at some point which gives it a coppery colour. I have tried showing the true colour of the frame in my photos. This Gilt colour could be lightly sanded back if desired or possibly painted.
Original backboard with its orignal "Paris" stamp and some light foxing to the mirror glass.
Measures: Height 145cm, Width 84cm, Depth 7cm
