Antique French Giltwood Bridal Mirror, in great condition.
Hard carved with floral and leaf detailing around the beautiful Gilt wood frame, which has no damage. Fabulous foxing to the original mirror glass.
The beautiful crest of this mirror features a bird, surrounded by a floral wreath. In French tradition, the bird symbolises love and the leaves, represent longevity in the Marriage Union. These were traditionally given as a gift to the newly married couple.
Measurements: Height 85cm x Width 45cm x Depth 6cm
