Antique French Bisque porcelain doves
Beautiful unglazed bisque porcelain doves which have five small holes to the base and an open tubed stand. They look like pie toppers except they are made from unglazed porcelain so I don't think this would have been their original use. However, I would guess they were used to decorate some kind of food product, like a cake.
They are unused old stock so in very good condition and very decorative. I have mounted one on a metal stand, as an example of how they could be displayed but they would look just as good displayed on a shelf or possibly hung from a Christmas tree.
