This French Painted Altar banner would be absolutely wonderful to decorate your home. It is in excellent condition and has the beautiful imagery of a White Dove set against the initials IHS. The colours on this banner are really stunning but predominantly a white cream background so will blend in beautifully with most decor.

This piece dates from the 19th Century and would have been used as an Altar frontal banner in a French Church.

The banner is edged with amazing gold metallic trim brocade/bullions, which are again, in excellent condition. Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information on this unique item.
