Stunning set vintage handcrafted African wooden honey pots with metal repairs.

These gorgeous honey pots hail from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda, where they were traditionally used to store honey and other food provisions. Hand carved from single blocks of wood, the pots have naturally flowing shapes, with beautiful time worn patina and over the years, handmade metal repairs have been added. These carefully applied metal reinforcements not only preserve the pots integrity and useage but also creates a stunning, unique look to every pot.
