Antique 18th Century Swedish Writing box, dry scraped to original paint
Lovely domed Swedish writing chest with original hand forged handle and original hardware, including the lock and key. The lock and key work but can be very temperamental due to its age, it does take some patience and know how to get this open sometimes.
Inside the later turquoise blue paint has been hand dry scraped off to reveal the wood underneath.
Measurements: height 25cm, width 44.5cm, depth 32cm
