Pretty Pair Antique 19th Century French Altar Candlesticks

These candlesticks with antique ivory grey paint and gilding to the front and plain back are being sold in as found condition, with remnants of old candle wax, lots of wear and patina commensurate with age.  

There are many ancient woodworm holes on both candlesticks which have been fully treated as a precaution and some splitting in the wood at the back/bases, as shown in the photos. These candlesticks are definitely far from perfect but reflect their age and use and the main damage/splitting is at the back. Please study the photos as they form part of the description and I have highlighted these flaws for full transparency.
