Gorgeous Pair Antique 19th Century French Altar Candlesticks

These candlesticks with original antique ivory grey paint and gilding to the front and plain back are in beautiful condition, with wear and patina commensurate with age. There are ancient woodworm holes on both candlesticks which have been treated as a precaution and some minor splitting in the wood at the back. Please study the photos as they form part of the description. These fabulous Church candlesticks are getting harder and harder to source, especially in this condition.
