Huge antique Swedish 18th century marriage chest with original paint

This absolutely stunning marriage chest is in a faded pinky, peachy red colourway with remnants of the original painted decorations on the front and sides. Inside the lid is the most exquisite painted design and dated 1704.

Sadly the original iron escutcheon is missing but the chest retains is beautiful iron strap hinges to the lid and back. It also has some beautiful ancient metal repairs to the front
