Decorative Antique French Wall Hanging Comtoise/Morbier Verge Escapement Clock, circa 1800's.

Very pretty pressed brass figurines bearing a large cross encase the Roman Enamel dial with matching brass hands. The weight driven movement, protected by the original stamped side doors, opening to reveal the verge escapement, the hours, half hours and alarm sounding on the bell mounted above. Together with the original highly decorative pendulum, a pair of weights, winding key and wall brackets.
