19th Century French Wood and Braided Tie Backs in Gold/Rust

A very old and beautiful pair of Curtain tie backs, originating from a French Chateau. They are very unusual in that they have the Wooden detailing throughout and are in this classic gold/rust colouring. There is some damage to the top of one of the tassels but this could be repaired. Currently, there is some wiring and some thread holding this piece together but once in position, this is not very noticeable. I love these tie backs and they will bring a lovely faded french elegance to any vintage home.
